Anthemic new release on Black Caviar Records by Ex-Plosion and Dutch producer Thiago Bachet. This time they have also partnered with British singer Darren Barley, who performed the lyrical part of the opening track. The name “Nocturne”, common among the dreamy musical pieces since the beginning of the 19th century, is very appropriate for a dynamic, uplifting composition and refers to the very first collaboration between the musicians. Ex-Plosion meets Fergie & Sadrian for their first in 10 years collaboration
Buenos Aires based producers Fernando Picciano and Adrian Sartore known as Fergie & Sadrian met Soviet Recordings boss Laslo Barkasi to work on another track since their latest underground trance tune “Caravan”, released already a decade ago. Both artists are from oil producing countries and, via their musical collaboration, they tried to make something authentic, giving the listeners a special feeling, which convey the atmosphere of complex and sometimes uncharted routes of so-called “Black Gold” transportation. The track is rich of percussions, glockenspiels, oriental vocals, strong basslines, and sharp synths hypnotizing all around. Play/Download.

A few tracks from our catalogue were synced to the “Kosmos: Future Space” video game! A simulator of the space industry and the economic strategy in real time is being implemented with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. We are glad to take part and are following the launch of the project. Fido X – “Vector Horizon” is one of the official soundtracks provided by our label. Fergie & Sadrian are back on Soviet Recordings to prepare a very special present for all the label’s fans. We are shortly greeted with a catchy melody in a vein of traditional Soviet music boxes. And how could they do without their own firmy hipnotic sound which explodes just immediately, together with a strong bassline reminding us that this is the real psychedelic. A set of matryoshkas consists of a wooden figure, which separates at the middle, top from bottom, to reveal a smaller figure of the same sort inside, which has, in turn, another figure inside of it, and so on. Olympic gold: our music plays in the finals amid victory of Russian gymnasts
We are happy to hear that “Puño de Hierro” by Tony Palmer was played at the Olympics again, now in the final round of the women’s gymnastics all-around. Angelina Melnikova has used it in her floor excercise and won gold medal for ROC team. «Music has the crowd clapping along. Front layout 1/1. Double pike. A tearful Melnikova runs off the podium and into the arms of her teammates» – Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique. Congratulations to Angelina and Team Russia! “Mazhor 2” wins Best Original Soundtrack award by Yandex Music
The year starts with the great news for Soviet Recordings. The official compilaton of “Silver Spoon” crime drama was awarded by Yandex Music, one of the biggest and fast growing local streaming services. The “Suicide Squad” has won foreign nomination, while sequel of “Mazhor” got a title in domestic league. We are happy to see the “Arbat” by Ex-Plosion and Thiago Bachet in the tracklist of one of the winning releases.

“I Have A Dream” is a brand new single by Ex-Plosion. It contains well known Martin Luther King’s speech on August 28, 1963. We have creatively approached the audiovisuals and presented the video specifically within the victory of Donald Trump. Do you find the irony in this? And what is this if not a one more evidence of the Russian hacker attack on the elections? We are just joking, though.
